Where to Find Us
The main offices for the John Muir Institute of the Environment are located in The Barn near the center of the UC Davis campus. The Barn is a historic horse barn southwest of the Silo, near Giedt and Kemper Halls.
Along with the administrative offices for the John Muir Institute of the Environment, The Barn hosts offices for several of JMIE’s programs including the Public Service Research Program, UC Davis Natural Reserve System and Road Ecology Center. The Barn is also home for the Center for Spatial Technologies and Remote Sensing, California Space Institute of Excellence and a branch of the Californian Cooperative Ecosystem Study Unit.
