UC Global Health Initiative GloCal Fellowship

University of California Global Health Institute (UCGHI) GloCal Health Fellowship

The GloCal Health Fellowship is a career development fellowship sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fogarty International Center (FIC), as well as a consortium at the UCGHI. This program supports fellows from the 10 UC campuses as well as 20 affiliated international sites across 17 countries.

The purpose of the program is to support a 12-month, mentored research fellowship for existing and aspiring investigators who are interested in studying diseases and conditions in developing countries (please note all trainees must spend 12 consecutive months in-country in order to be eligible for the program). Several training sites are available through the UCGHI / international institution consortium.
