UC Davis has the most comprehensive offering of environmental degree programs in the nation. Our curriculum provides students with integrated experiences in research, resource management and policy, preparing them for success in the world's environmental sectors.
The John Muir Institute of the Environment provides a promotional listing and bulletin service for upcoming courses with an environmental emphasis - many taught by JMIE faculty members.
The university offers truly interdisciplinary graduate study in the environment, with
49
graduate programs represented at the John Muir Institute.
The faculty represented by the John Muir Institute of the Environment come from more than
50
departments in four colleges -- Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering, and Letters and Science -- and five professional schools -- Education, Law, Management, Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine.
JMIE faculty and researchers participate in many other institutes, centers, labs, programs and projects at UC Davis. We support and collaborate with these related programs as appropriate.
