The USGS Western Ecological Research Center Davis Field Station (USGS-Davis) conducts research on the effects of contaminants on the ecology of wildlife with emphasis on the San Francisco Bay region, Mojave Desert, and Alaska. The Davis Field Station maintains its emphasis on contaminants but has expanded its capabilities to include landscape-cale coastal and terrestrial ecology, working closely in collaboration with University faculty and students.
