Diane Kruger

Kruger has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership positions overseeing strategic planning, financial management, human resources, institutional advancement, capital planning, facilities management and operations for non-profit, educational, and for-profit institutions.  Her experience includes over 15 years in university senior leadership positions including at the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Education.  Kruger has managed operational and capital budgets in excess of $150 million, including the launch of new undergraduate, graduate and executive education programs.

Kruger is known to be tenacious and mission-centric in both her work and private life, where she has served as a volunteer in service of youth, disadvantaged communities, refugees and the elderly.  Kruger’s volunteer work, including her position as Board President for a non-profit, has taken her across the globe in service to others.

As a product of a small town in Northern Minnesota, Kruger feels a special connection with the community of Davis and an affinity for its agricultural roots. Kruger is committed to providing strong financial acumen and strategy in support of research and discovery, while creating educational opportunities for the next generation of climate-focused leaders.
