Clarity Of Lake Tahoe Declines In 2010  (New)

Lake Tahoe’s clarity has declined to its second lowest level since record keeping began in the 1960s, according to UC Davis’ Tahoe Environmental Research Center. The report suggests that climate change could have created conditions favoring single-cell algae, reducing the lake’s clarity.
