IGIS to Hold 'Dronecamp' in July, 2017
The University of California, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources Informatics and GIS Statewide Program (IGIS) will host a three-day 'Dronecamp' July 25-27, 2017, in Davis. This bootcamp-style short course will provide comprehensive training in using drones for research and resource management. Sessions will cover safety & regulations, principles of photogrammetry and remote sensing, mission planning, flight operations (including 1/2 day of hands-on practice), data processing & analysis, visualization, and industry trends. No experience is necessary.
