John Muir Institute for the Environment
Lecture Series and Guest Speakers
Communicating intelligence and inspiration for a sustainable future
New and evocative ideas stimulate serious science and encourage thought provoking discussions between students, professionals and the public. The John Muir Institute of the Environment collaborates with departments and programs across the UC Davis campus to bring experts to campus with cutting-edge information that challenge us to think about environmental issues and solutions in new and different ways.

Endowing a lecture series is a meaningful way for donors to support environmental scholarship at UC Davis. Endowments typically bear the name of the donor(s), reflect their interests and serve as an enduring testament to their generosity. By providing your support you will help us continue to bring distinguished expert speakers to UC Davis that will engage the university and community to learn about and consider new ideas to address complex environmental problems.
