Effects on Agriculture

There are many ways in which global climate change with affect agriculture and the human food supply. Increased drought in some food producing regions increases the chances of famine. In many areas changing climatic patterns with force farmers to adopt different crops. It is necessary to prepare for these changes now by adopting water efficient farming practices, drought tolerant crops, and, in some areas, abandoning agriculture altogether.
