Climate Action Team: Public Health Workgroup Meeting

The Public Health Working Group of the California Climate Action Team addresses cross-cutting issues related to climate change and health, including issues specific to AB 32 implementation. The purpose of the workgroup is to provide a forum for communication, coordination, and education across agencies and with stakeholders.

Join the next Climate Action Team Public Health Workgroup meeting, focused on "Health and Oil and Gas Production."  The meeting will be broadcast live for those unable to attend in person.  Additional details are available online.

Presentations include:

"The Public Health Dimensions of Oil and Gas Development in California," presented by Seth Shonkoff, PSE Healthy Energy.

"ARB's Recently Adopted Oil & Gas Methane Regulation," presented by Jim Nyarady, California Air Resources Board.

"Air Monitoring for Oil and Gas Emissions: In Communities and During Well Stimulation," presented by Carolyn Lozo and Ken Stroud, California Air Resources Board.

"Correlation Between DOGGR Well Data and Incidence of Low Birthweight," presented by Rachel Morello-Frosch, UC Berkeley.
