FBRC fosters research and graduate education focused on forest biology and stewardship.

USGS Western Ecological Research Station (WERC)

Research at the UC Davis Field Station of the USGS-WERC examines the physiologic and metabolic effects of stressors on organisms and how subsequent vulnerabilities translate into population and ecosystem health.

Road Ecology Center (REC)

REC brings together researchers and policy makers from ecology and transportation to design sustainable transportation systems based on an understanding of the impact of roads on natural landscapes and human communities.
